Compliance Services project
Guidance and tools tailored to suppliers, dealers and installers
The EU ecodesign and energy labelling legislation sets resource efficiency and information requirements for a wide range of energy-consuming products sold within the EU market. While the ecodesign regulations address both energy and material resource efficiency, the energy labelling regulations focus specifically on product information.
Market actors must understand the specific requirements and responsibilities to ensure compliance with these regulations.
The ComplianceServices information portal offers essential guidance and tools tailored to suppliers, dealers, and installers through dedicated service sections. These services primarily target new regulations issued between 2023 and the end of 2026, focusing on heating, air-conditioning, PV products, and white goods. The portal begins with general guidance on the ecodesign and energy labelling legislative framework and provides specific tools and guidelines for the product group tumble dryers.
What to expect in the coming months/years?
In the coming months and throughout 2025, additional tools and services will be introduced for product groups such as local space heaters, central space and water heaters, PV modules, air conditioners, and white goods. The timeline for these updates will depend on the European Commission's finalisation of the corresponding product-specific regulations.
