Your obligations

As a dealer, you are required to display the energy label to your customers and provide the information from the product information sheet. The requirements vary depending on whether you:

sell the product in a physical shop.
sell the product online.
feature the product in advertisements or other materials.

Results of the Compliance Services project´s new monitoring activity in online stores in 7 EU countries, organised in January 2026, indicate room for improvement within specific energy labelling display requirements and for specific product categories, such as heating products.
