Written and verbal offers

When you submit an offer, you must provide the energy label and the product information included in the product fiche.

A verbal offer must therefore always be followed up with a written offer that includes the energy label and the product fiche or the mandatory details from it.

These requirements apply to both individual products and packages.

Inspections by national market surveillance authority

Your national market surveillance authority conducts regular inspections to check the compliance of products sold on the EU market with the relevant EU legislation.
Failure to correct improper or missing use of the energy label and product fiche may result in injunctions and fines.
